Anne Walton Keller, Administrative and Presiding Judge

Anne Walton Keller was elected Judge of the Shaker Heights Municipal Court in 2021. Prior to her election, Judge Keller was a Magistrate for over 5 years in the Shaker Heights Municipal Court, presiding over criminal, traffic and civil matters. She began her career practicing criminal litigation in federal, state and municipal courts throughout Ohio. She has taught continuing legal education seminars for the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio Judicial College, the Parma Bar Association, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, and other organizations. Judge Keller currently serves as the Vice President of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. She is the Vice President of the Northeast Ohio Municipal Judges Association and the Immediate Past President of the William K. Thomas American Inn of Court. Judge Keller serves on the Ohio Judicial Conference’s Criminal Law and Procedure Committee and Public Confidence and Community Outreach Committee.  A lifelong resident of the Court district, Judge Keller is grateful for the opportunity to serve our community.
